Jack Tatar is Managing Partner of Doyle Capital, which is a venture fund investing in the blockchain and cryptoasset space, and the co-author of “Cryptoassets: The Innovative Investor’s Guide to Bitcoin and Beyond” (McGraw-Hill 2017), as well as one of the first books on Bitcoin, “What’s the Deal with Bitcoins?” (People Tested Media, 2013). Mr. Tatar is the owner of numerous businesses including GEM Research Solutions LLC (“GEM”), a leading market research firm for the financial services industry and is the Chair of the WSBA Working Group on Cryptoassets.
Prior to the creation of GEM, he worked for Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor and marketing executive. He has written numerous books on retirement and was a columnist for Marketwatch.com, About.com and TheBalance.com. Mr. Tatar graduated with a BA in Economics from Stony Brook University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
