Leveraging extensive experience as an OTC Clearing strategist, she is a valuable asset for start-ups or finance-related companies of various sizes and stages of growth that are seeking expert assistance with setting up go-to-market strategies for selling products on Wall Street, helping companies determine wise investments, building strong channel partners, and optimizing profitability. Sonia’s broad areas of expertise include business strategy, derivatives, hedge funds, regulations, Cryptocurrency and Blockchain. Throughout her executive career, Sonia has held leadership positions at Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte Consulting, Real Soft, Inc., and Citibank. In 2013, Sonia joined Cleartrack, where she currently serves as CEO. Cleartrack helps financial services firms profit on the changes brought about by new and pending regulations. She has built the company's brand reputation within the industry and in turn, has developed solid business connections. Sonia was instrumental in launching a Limit Management Product for NEX/Traiana and was told by the co-founder that she "saved the company”. Previously, as Director Global Clearing & Exchange Services-Business Architect at Deutsche Bank, she was recognized as one of the "Top 50 Women" in Deutsche Bank Operations and Technology. During her time as Vice President Prime Brokerage-Product Development at Goldman Sachs, she led the derivatives processing/reporting platform development for global security services which included clearing, prime brokerage, risk and margin, and stock loan. As Director of Financial Services Practice for Real Soft, Inc., she was invaluable in taking them from $5M to $40M in revenue. Her willingness to put the work in at every level of development ensures the stability and success of an organization.
Sonia earned her BArch in Engineering from Pune University. She is a thought leader within multiple forums including the LEI Committee Financial Stability Board. Additionally, she has been featured in several publications including CFA Magazine, FINOPS, and the Wall Street Journal. Sonia was presented with a “Client Service Award” from Bank of New York for her 9/11 Disaster recovery initiative.
